Science has come a long way! In addition, the procedure is now available to animals too! One Irish Terrier got to see this science in action. Duffy lost his eyesight when his health deteriorated due to diabetes. His health improved but his eyesight was gone. He was left confused. He couldn’t see the loving faces of his family. He was disoriented in his new world, reports Dogtime.

Luckily for Duffy, he qualified for the eye surgery. His family quickly got him signed up for the surgery at the Veterinary Referral Center in Malvern, Pennsylvania. As soon as he got out of surgery, he saw his family for the first time in months.
He cries with joy and can’t stop wagging his tail. The joy is very evident when seeing his reaction. The doctors that treated him and performed surgery on him gave a new chance at life.
