ZAZ Performs 'Je Veux' On Street And Captures Everyone's Heart

Fans of street music were recently given a gift from the Gods when prolific French singer and songwriter ZAZ conducted a live performance of her most well-known single "Je Veux," all on the streets. Her video went viral and features the same talented musicians that performed in her original music video.

Isabella Geffroy chose ZAZ as her performing alias, similar to how Austin Post goes by Post Malone. She was born in 1980, on May 1st, and can perform a variety of musical genres. Most notably, ZAZ is known for her acoustic abilities, her compositions in jazz, and even her work in the field of soul.

A French artist, she's fluent in a variety of French genres. "Je Veux" debuted on ZAZ's very first album in 2010 and has since been her most famous song to date. Even though she didn't stop there, writing more hits and continuing to make a name for herself, "Je Veux" is a fan favorite and will transcend throughout time.

ZAZ draws inspiration from her favorite artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, and Bobby McFerrin, and even Enrico Macias. She didn't just "get lucky," either. She was so talented that she received a musical scholarship that ultimately allowed her to achieve a lifelong goal of music as a career. Even though her first album came out in 2010, she's technically been on the music scene since around 2001.
