The 54-year-old German jazz pianist Jörg Hegemann has been jazzing up the audiences since 1987. The numerous performances in Russia, Europe, and the USA have made Hegemann a favorite pianist of many in the boogie-woogie world. Confident and relaxed, he is a consummate pianist who captures his audiences' hearts wherever he goes. His companion, 38-year-old Stefan Ulbricht, took an interest in music at the tender age of five, reports The Music Man.

In 1997, Ulbricht caught the boogie-woogie bug and has never looked back. His performances since 1999 have given a touch of youth to the age-old boogie blues. Ulbricht is a multiple awards recipient in the boogie-woogie music due to his excellent piano skills. When the duo plays together, it is hard to see the 20-year age difference between them. No one will fault you if you think they were both born playing boogie-woogie melodies.

On cue, the duo's arms crisscrossed each other without stopping the melody even for one bit. Who would have imagined that? The arm-twist made the crowd excitedly jubilant and left them craving for more. Even before the onlookers could recover, the younger pianist stood up. Without missing a step or a key, he expertly moved to the older pianist's side. By this time, the crowd was ecstatic.

It was just joyfully exciting that with the innovative antics displayed in the concert, the music got even better. Adding to the ecstasy is the two men's ability to dance to the music they were creating, a clear sign that they were enjoying themselves.
