Cancer is by all means one of the most painful and traumatic things a human being can go through. Cancer patients must deal with pain not only on a physical level, but mental and emotional levels as well.

This is because of the very nature of the disease. Not only does it put one through excruciating pain, but it causes fears, turmoil, and doubts that can consume the patient. How much longer can they keep on going? It's a situation that can lead to utterly broken individuals.

Not to mention how long the disease must last for patients suffering from it. For some the disease only lasts a few months with proper treatment. For others it is a terrible ordeal they must go through for years.

Since hospitals understand how joyful one can be once they've beaten the disease, many have installed what is called a survivor's bell in their cancer departments. These are rung by patients who successfully complete their treatment and are cancer-free for the time being.

It's easy to see how this could be a very emotional place to be, such as the case of this young Florida girl. In a video that went viral after being posted days ago, a fragile girl leaning on a walking stick and no hair on her head maintained a cheery attitude as she stood behind the bell.

The young woman proceeds to emotionally thank her family, her friends, and her doctors. She explains to them that the journey was difficult, but it was thanks to their support and love that kept her going. They are the reason she came so far and finally beat the disease.

She then throws her hands excitedly into the air and laughs along with the people around her. She then proceeds to ring the bell many times, laughing as she does. She is now free from the disease, and now has a chance to live like a normal, healthy girl of her age.

Watch the amazing video above, and don't forget to show it to your friends and family so they can experience the joy this girl is going through, too. And don't forget to tell us what you think in the comments!
