‘World’s Most Beautiful Girl’ Thylane Blondeau Is All Grown Up And Gorgeous

Child models and actors are not unheard of, and in fact, some of America's most beloved faces today started their careers when they were just children. Although being an actor or model as a child poses many challenges, some people seem to have just been born for the job. Striking model Thylane Blondeau is no exception. When she was just six years old, Thylane Blondeau was named "the most beautiful girl in the world," and few could dispute it. As just a little girl, she graced the cover of Vogue, walked the runway Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show, and was featured in ad campaigns around the world. At the time, it sparked controversy because of her young age, but now she is grown up and still as beautiful as ever. With her effortless beauty, Thylane Blondeau's captivating blue eyes are one of her signature features. She's been the face of fashion campaigns, as well as beauty brands such as L'Oréal. Blondeau has even gotten to collaborate with celebrities such as Zendaya and is represented by the same agency that represents Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Kaia Gerber.

Now into her twenties, Blondeau has taken continued her childhood career as a model and has an active presence on Instagram where fans follow her life and work. Blondeau regularly models for campaigns of big fashion brands like Miu Miu, but she's even branched out and started a clothing line of her own.

Raised by French actress Véronika Loubry and soccer star Patrick Blondeau, Thylane Blondeau came into this world ready for the cameras with her bright blue eyes and gorgeous looks. Born in Aix-en-Provence, France, on April 5, 2001, Blondeau originally captured the internet in awe when she was just six years old. However, her career actually started a few years earlier than that. 

In 2005, at the age of four, she walked in the Jean Paul Gaultier Fashion show. By age six, she was modeling for campaigns, and people questioned whether it was too much pressure for such a young girl. She was just ten years old when she graced the cover of Vogue magazine, and in 2015 she signed with IMG Models. In the same year, Blondeau walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana, but her career was just kicking off. In 2017, along with celebs such as Zendaya and Lucky Blue Smith, Blondeau was featured in the spring/summer Dolce & Gabbana campaign, which was millennial-themed. She also became an ambassador for L'Oreal Paris the same year, and just one year later became the founder of her own clothing brand, Heaven May.

As if her title as the 'world's most beautiful girl' was not enough, Blondeau secured first place in the annual "Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2018" competition. 

In an interview with Frivolette Magazine, Blondeau was asked if she would call herself the most beautiful girl on earth, and she answered with a bold, "Not exactly myself!" despite all of the praise she has received from the media and fans.

When asked if she had any hidden talents, Blondeau revealed that she enjoys music:

"To be honest, I do not like to talk about myself. It's funny, is not it? But I play the piano, guitar, and drums. And I'm singing. But I'm terribly embarrassed about everything I do."

With millions of Instagram followers, Blondeau's presence on social media is strong. When asked if all of the attention affects her, Blondeau told Frivolette Magazine:

"You know, this does not affect me in any way. I'm still young, I'm pleased. And I try to do everything for my "Thylaners;" I talk with them all the time, and often my mother helps me to answer messages."

By "Thylaners," Blondeau means her fans, which constantly praise her on her Instagram. On an Instagram post of Blondeau in a blue bikini and black hat, one fan simply commented, "Beauty." 

Blondeau also told the magazine that her happiest place on earth is "where [she] can stay with [her] mom and brother." 

However, the model's life has had its own ups and downs. In a post from Oct. 17, 2021, she revealed that she needed an emergency operation. The caption read:

"Wasn't sure about posting this but here we are

A year ago I had an emergency operation for an ovarian cyst that had exploded in my stomach...Today I feel blessed and grateful that I've went through this experience and I'm very thankful for AVI ❤️ who literally saved my life and all the doctors took care of me and helped me to go through this..."

Since recovery, Blondeau has resumed her usual work on fashion campaigns and modeling; we're happy to see that she had a successful recovery!
