Grandfather Bill Modry had the perfect gift made for his newly adopted granddaughter. He and his wife happily made their way through airport security, their special gift in tow, but something terrible happened when they tried to pass through, which one woman witnessed and could not believe.

Amarri Hernandez and her boyfriend were waiting at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport when they saw the incident happen, and Amarri grabbed the gift out of the trash and made it her mission to find the rightful owner.

She shared this story on Facebook and it quickly went viral, which led to the inevitable discovery of Bill's family.
