Of course, it had nothing to do with her sweet post but the fact that her boyfriend looked like the twin of the late artist, Michael Jackson. Looking at them side by side, it is hard to know who the real Jackson is. The woman’s boyfriend looks like the mirror image of the King of Pop. Soon, everyone not only noticed the resemblance, but they started commenting on it, making the thread one of the funniest of 2017. Firs, user @BSNComedy replied to the tweet and said, "He shouldn't take selfies while driving. He might get hit by a smooth criminal". Next, another prson responded with ”He won't stop til he gets enough.” Everyone wanted to create a play on words of Michael Jackson’s famous songs and pop culture moments. The one-up game resulted in one of the funniest threads of the year. The fun did not stop here. More users noticed the tweet and continued with the jokes. For example, user @ricksmich responsed with his own joke, "Your man just told me I rock his world" and others continued the jokes. People could not help themselves from adding other puns with the King of Pop's songs. In some ways, it became as much about this man looking like Michael Jackson as a place where people could talk about Jackson's songs and life. The tweet spiraled out of control. Soon, the Tweet went completely viral when a famous Twitter comedian named Annie retweeted the post and said, “Your man just asked me if I’m ok.” Annie’s tweet resulted in 150,000 retweets, 380,000 likes and more than 2,000 responses. What started as a personal tweet to a loved one has become one of the most popular threads on Twitter. Though the girlfriend probably thought she was celebrating her relationship, her boyfriend is now famous for looking just like the King of Pop. No word yet on whether or not he has signed up to work for a casino in Vegas or Michael Jackson impersonator. Here’s hoping he sees it as a compliment or equally hilarious.
