Woman Discovers Her Partner Cheated On Her So She Dumps Glitter Throughout His Home

Cheating in relationships has been common for ages now, and it does happen almost everywhere. Many people claim they are in serious relationships, yet their actions do not relate to the suggested commitment in any way. Infidelity and cheating scenarios can crush the victim terribly. It is taking another individual for a fool and having their trust broken.
Especially with the emergence of social media and online communications, everything has become virtual, and this has caused drastic changes in the world. For most parts, technology has helped transform utility objects like compasses, calculators, and even maps that a person would need on their daily travel into compact applications on smartphones.
Over time, it has been proven that these applications are double-edged swords, too, for some people at least.
A spiteful woman confessed what she did on the Petty Revenge Thread on Reddit on July 25, 2023, after finding out that her partner was cheating on her with another woman.
The Original Poster (OP), @tallulahtallulah, caught her partner cheating on her after snooping around his trash. Not physical trash in this case, but his email junk. OP revealed that she found some “pretty graphic” emails from the other woman.
How did OP confirm the adulterous behavior of her partner? She checked through her now ex-partner's location tracking feature of her mobile maps application.
While it is true that some people might get livid when confronted with these scenarios, some people would like to get low, dirty, and petty. In response, OP thought of a way to avenge herself for her partner's disappointing behavior.

Technological advancements have brought good things to many relationships. It has ushered in a new era of communicating with your loved ones even if you’re miles apart, like sending emails and using video chat to message.
But these advancements can also become detrimental for people who are hiding something from others. In the case of OP’s boyfriend, he clearly didn’t know or might have accidentally left her email trash unemptied when his girlfriend checked it.
Communicating with other people outside work or in formal settings via a discreet application such as email is already a suspicious activity for some. For OP, her instincts seemed to have led her to snoop on her boyfriend’s trash and find out about his infidelity.
Upon finding out about it – OP thought of the pettiest way to enact revenge.
“So I got every bit of loose glitter I owned and I went to his house and scattered it. In his bed, his couch, his chairs, his toilets, his clothes, his iron flat top stove,” she recalled doing.
"I know I’ll be okay and I’m going to heal," OP said. “But guess who probably won’t ever be able to fully get rid of all the glitter?” she ominously asked the thread.
Comments on the Thread were all positive, lauding OP for her petty revenge.
“Perfectly brilliant...and sparkly revenge. Not going to your local craft shop and buying all the glitter available on your way to your partner's house shows admirable restraint and financial responsibility,” a user commented.
“OP's third eye is WIDE open. Never would’ve considered glitter- but thinking about it, it's the best. Dude will have glitter coming out of his a** crack for years to come. There's no getting rid of glitter,” another posted.

Many seemed to have loved and laughed at OP’s petty revenge on her cheating partner. Some even gave suggestions on what she should have done to make the petty revenge pettier.
“If you really want to be diabolical, mix the glitter with granulated sugar. Not only will he not be able to get rid of the glitter, but he’ll also have a never-ending parade of ants,” a user recommended.
“If he had a ceiling fan you could have put some on top of the blades too. Really make it the gift that keeps on giving,” another one suggested.
“Other great places: inside socks(it gets into the fabric of the socks staying long after washing) Above door frames it will spill a little puff of glitter every time the door is open/shut so as long as they don't dust frequently, it'll just keep popping up. Also in the mattress seams, in-between books/dvds and any drawer rails, and finally never forget the air ducts,” one said.
One user even jokingly pointed out that OP was wrong in posting her revenge plot on the Petty Revenge thread, as she should have posted it on the Life-Changing Revenge Thread on the same platform.
“Ohhh put some in his car cabin air filter. It’s hilarious,” someone advised.
Aside from this, some users also shared how they used glitter in their petty acts of revenge.
“Oh you beautiful psychopath :D A long-time friend of mine often talked about using glitter to express their frustrations with people. Said friend has more than once threatened to glitter-bomb me, which I fully understand and accept because I know I can be insufferable sometimes :P,” a Redditor shared.
