Woman Applauded For Succinctly Explaining Why Women Break Up With Their Boyfriends For ‘No Reason’

It’s everyone’s worst relationship nightmare to have their partner walk away from them suddenly. Being blindsided by the end of a relationship can be extremely hurtful. Adjusting to life without your partner is difficult to go through alone. Even though all breakups are painful, it can be even harder to understand if you had no idea it was coming.

A girl on TikTok tried to explain the phenomena in which men are seemingly left in the dark about what caused their breakups for "no reason." Apparently, she said, it starts with “simple fixable problems.” 

In her video, TikTok user Jennifer Reardon broke down how why these kinds of breakups occur. 

“For this example, we’re going to use “no good morning text.” Your girlfriend who loves you, she’s really happy with you, she comes to you, and she tells you, “Hey, do you think we could start doing good morning texts? Like, it means a lot to me if you text me ‘good morning.' So you, her loving boyfriend, agree to give her good morning texts,” she explained. 

As she continued her video, Reardon then explained that sometimes, men, for whatever reason, stop doing these actions, which would make women think something is wrong. However, at this point, Reardon still considered this as a “simple fixable problem” which could be resolved if the woman reminded the man to keep on giving her “good morning texts.” 

For some people, receiving simple greetings like “good morning messages” and the like are simple ways of affirming and assuring them, and making them feel loved and cared for. 

But, at some point, some men may still forget or would stop doing this again, which Reardon then pointed out to be the part where everything escalates into something bigger. 

As the idea of a man not caring for his girlfriend enough to assure and affirm her regularly escalates, it could snowball into different small fights and arguments that could actually impact the relationship eventually.

“So now, your girlfriend, who has never picked fights before in her life, starts picking a bunch of little fights about all these different things, because she believes that you do not care enough. Through all of these picking fights with you, though, she still loves you and likes you enough to want to be with you,” Reardon said. 

From being five minutes late for dinner and leaving dishes in the sink, to not remembering the dog’s birthday and not complimenting her haircut – the problems could become petty but, at the same time, are meaningful to the woman, because she already has the notion that she is not being taken care of. 

Reardon then pointed out that eventually, women will finally realize that these small fights and inactions become “unattractive qualities” that remind them that their partner does not care enough for them. 

As a woman mulls over the decision, Reardon said that it’s not about the small petty fights that would cause her to lose interest, not even the fact that she doesn’t receive “good morning messages,” but it's the idea that her man, despite being reminded numerous times, does not like her anymore. 

Reardon concluded the video by saying that when a woman informs the man of what caused their break up, they would try to win the woman back by promising to take notice of that again. 

“It doesn’t even matter if you were to do all of these things anymore. Because the problem now is that she’s unattracted to you and just simply does not like you anymore,” she reminded everyone.  

Many women applauded Reardon for her succinct breakdown in the comments of her video. One wrote: "This is too real," while another said, "EXACTLY."
