We can only marvel at the wonders of nature like this.
It’s a day like any other at the Salt River in Arizona’s Tonto National Forest. Two bands of horses eat and rest at the two opposing river banks. Then suddenly something happens.
One stallion named Champ becomes aware of something unusual: One young female foal is being pushed underwater by a strong current and is at risk of drowning. Champ wastes no time and runs to the young horse. He grabs her by the neck and brings her to land safely.
Once Champ knows the filly is safe he gets back to his own band and takes one glance back at the other group who now became new friends.
