When Garbage Man Picks Up Her Kid, Mom Starts Recording And Posts It Online For The World To See

Most adults don’t dream about a job involving sanitation. It’s a tiring, dirty job that requires getting up super early and spending your days handling garbage. However, it is a job that is vital to our community. Where would we be without garbage men picking up our trash every week?

Adults often dream of a job that involves a suit and tie. They don’t want one that is so physically demanding and dirty. However, many kids look up to sanitation workers. They see them as the heroes of the community.

Many kids get excited when they hear the garbage man coming down the street.

They watch as they display the physical strength necessary to collect the trash and keep the streets clean.

Even very young children admire the garbage men. This is certainly the case for sixteen-month-old Gray.

To little Gray, Mr. Anthony, the well-known garbage man, is a superhero.

Gray’s mother, Shelley Guidry, shared an adorable video she took of Mr. Anthony holding her son. He was allowing Gary to help with his duties by telling him to be strong while he pushed the garbage can back up the driveway.

This wasn’t the first time Mr. Anthony and Gray have interacted. They have been friends ever since Gray turned five months old.

Sometimes, Mr. Anthony will even take a quick break and play with sidewalk chalk with Gray when he catches him outside on his route.

Guirdy stated on her Facebook post about the cute relationship they have together. She says it is really just the sweetest thing.

One individual who read the post left a comment saying that she knew Mr. Anthony, as he used to be her neighbor, and this is just how he is with people. She said he loves kids very much, and he is truly a good person. Guidry was very happy that someone who knew Mr. Anthony had responded to her post.

Gray’s father, Ryan Guidry, was so happy to see the positive recognition that came from the post for Mr. Anthony. He hopes that everyone will spread the joy and love that comes from this beautiful video.

He stated that even though these men work really hard, they still took the time to stop and interact with his son. He said it meant a lot to his son and his family, and he is thrilled that others are touched by the video.
