Well-Known Conjoined Twins Brittany And Abby Get First Job As Math Teachers

Conjoined twins from Minnesota Abby and Brittany Hensel are now working as math teachers at an elementary school. The twins secured their degree in education in 2012.

When Abby and Brittany were born in 1990, Doctors deemed it impossible to separate the two girls as they share a heart, spine, spinal cord, and other major organs. Although the sisters share a body and organs, they are nevertheless two seperate personalities, each with their own quirks. 

The two appeared on the YouTube series Naked Stories in February 2018 after they got part-time jobs teaching fifth-grade math. The video shows Abby and Brittany’s great excitement at becoming teachers as they head out and buy school supplies for their new positions.

As the two set up their new classroom, Mr. Good, the school’s principal, tells interviewers that hiring Abby and Brittany was an easy decision. Not only did the two wow the school’s staff during their job interviews, but they also had an amazing knowledge of mathematics and sheer exuberance for elementary education.

Continuing, Mr. Good says that letters will be sent out to parents informing them of Abby and Brittany’s hiring as well as their condition. Mr. Good expects that no parents will object to the hiring once they hear how determined and articulate the two are at the school's annual open house.

Meanwhile, Abby and Brittany say that they are most excited to be teaching kids in the fifth grade because they feel that it is a special age when kids begin to come into their personality and mindset.

Patti, Abby, and Brittany’s mother were also excited to see her daughters get jobs. Speaking with interviewers from Naked Stories, Patti says that Abby and Brittany had many dream jobs when they were kids, including pilots and dentists.

Patti feels that her two girls are perfectly suited to teaching as kids feel drawn to them out of curiosity and their great rapport with young people. We congratulate Abby and Brittany on their success and look forward to seeing them molding young minds as teachers!
