Two 5th Grade Girls Pull Off Amusing Talent Show Skit

Frequently, remarkable ingenuity and talent come from the most unlikely of places. Whether it's a buskable street corner or a small town's basketball court, talent can arise from places that are most unexpected.

Two girls in the fifth grade proved exactly that in their hilarious skit for their school's talent show in 2014.

When it comes to future stars-to-be, there's nothing that's more alluring to them than the prospect of a school talent show. However, all-too-often watching such shows can be a test of mental endurance for friends and family in the audience.

Frequently, children are sometimes even forced to attend such concerts and participate by family members who did so when they were young. How many quaky-voiced performances of Mary Had a Little Lamb could an adult handle? Even if they do make for some mildly entertaining memories, they're not always high-quality entertainment. That's exactly what these little girls wanted to change!

These two gals have more than enough talent to go around for everybody else in the school and then some. Despite only being in the fifth grade, these two engenius girls choreographed an amazing stage performance for their school's talent show.

Part clowning, part puppet show, and part dance, they used baby clothing with a rope attached to the feet and the elbows. This allowed them to groove along with their proportionately longer arms in a hilarious fashion.

Their feet move along with their more sweeping gestures they're only equals the most hilarious of results for the laughter-wracked audience! The hilarity of their disproportionate physiques is especially highlighted during their performance of the classical song Kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas.

When each of the girls begins to swing their arms up and down in a karate chop motion, we can hear the audience really begin to roar with laughter! Everyone's imagining just how impossible it would be to perform a flying karate kick when your arms would bash against the villain before your legs!

They then begin a song by Pharrell known simply as Happy. Witnessing their arms flail around overhead as if a pair of inflatable noodles flapping in the breeze make anyone in the audience want to jump in and mimic their actions. It certainly looks like it would be a good exercise!

Harkening back to one of the absolute meme classics, the duo begins to bust out a nifty rendition of an infant's version of Psy's Gangnam Style. All of the typical moves are there, from riding the horse to sliding back and forth, but this time it's made all the more humorous by their monkey-like proportions! We can only postulate as to how Psy himself would react to such a hilarious interpretation of his world-famous song!

The next segment of their performance involved the famous rapper Soulja Boy and his song Tell 'em. However, one of the best things about such creative girls is their costuming. During the "YYOOOUUUUU" portion of the song, each girl's baby-bottom half swung nearly 180 degrees left and right; their sunglasses really set the mood while their sly smiles at the audience elicited peals of laughter.

It's quite impressive for two girls who are so young to understand the language of comedy so fluently, and it's obvious to all that attended that they have talent that far exceeds their grade level! We certainly believe they have a bright future in entertainment and comedy ahead of them!

Have you or your friends ever been a part of a school talent show? What did you do for your performance? We want to hear all about it! Don't forget to send it on to a friend.
