Bearded Man At Grocery Store Mistaken For Santa By Two-Year-Old Girl

You never know when Santa will appear! Or so this sweet little girl thought when she was out shopping for the day.

The joy of Christmas filled this store back in 2015 when Sophie Jo Riley came across who she thought was Santa Claus, off duty. 

While shopping with her parents, the little girl spotted a man with a white beard and red top and instantly thought she'd come across St Nick in his downtime.

As reported by news station WSAZ, the surprised shopper didn't let the case of mistaken identity throw him and played along, acting as though he was Santa for the little girl. 

Sophie Jo's parents, thrilled at the man's generosity, filmed the interaction, and the video has now gone viral. 

We've never spotted Santa in a pair of jeans, but there's always a first time.

The stranger asked Sophie, then only two-years-old, if she had been a good girl, was she ready for Christmas and whether he could eat all the snacks she was putting out for him.

He certainly made one little girl's Christmas extra special.
