Tiny Dog Bravely Defends Kitten In Between 2 Port-A-Potties Until Rescuers Come To Save Them Both

There's often a love or hate relationship between pets, especially cats and dogs. When a Chihuahua protects his cat friend, the bond that these two animals are capable of sharing is clearly evident.

As Morticia and Gomez enjoy time together in their home, they often get into mischief. While someone was driving past a park one afternoon, the driver noticed the cat and dog huddled together. Gomez appeared to be protecting Morticia as the two animals were close together.

Gomez growled at anyone who tried to get close to the pair.

The driver tried to get the cat and dog from between the dumpsters at the park but found that it was difficult to entice the pair from between the hiding spot. After some time had passed, the driver decided to contact a local animal control office to let someone know about the animals.

The pets were saved and taken to a local shelter, but no one came forward to try to rescue the animals. It seemed like their owner had abandoned them or had lost them and wasn't aware that they were at the shelter.

Even though the cat and dog were clearly close to each other, they had to stay in separate areas in the shelter because of the rules. Saver of Souls Pet Rescue made the decision to take the duo to its location to see how well they would get along.
