Thousands Are Laughing After Man Reports Hilarious Incident To Ikea

Not everything works out the way you want it to. When that happens, how you react says a lot about you as a person. Some choose to feel sorry for themselves, and others choose to keep a positive attitude and even laugh themselves. This story involves the latter.

Claus Jørstad, a man from Norway, recently shared what many would consider a highly-embarrassing situation on his Facebook page. He probably didn't guess the post would quickly go viral.

Claus suffered from knee pain, so he went to IKEA in search of a stool to sit on in the shower. He finally choose a piece that was made from plastic and steel, so it would do well in the shower, and he found it comfortable. Unfortunately, he forgot to take into account the fact that he would be using the stool without clothing, which turned out to be a big factor.

After placing the stool in the shower and sitting upon it in his birthday suit, a feature of the stool that he hadn't considered became obvious. There was a series of holes around the center of the stool, and each hole was large enough for a certain piece of male anatomy to slip through. In the case of Claus, one such piece of anatomy slipped down into one of the holes. This particular piece was one of a pair, and as most men are aware, that pair tends to expand in warm or hot situations. When Claus attempted to stand after his hot shower, he felt a searing pain through his whole body as the stool dangled behind him.

He didn't know what to do, so he sat and considered his predicament. As he pondered his options, the water started to cool, causing a reverse effect of the expansion that caused this state of affairs. The hot water eventually ran out altogether, and he was left in a frigid trap that easily allowed his stuck anatomy to free itself.

The story Claus posted to Facebook received 12,000 shares and 25,000 likes in the first day. It even received a comment from the furniture giant. IKEA responded to the post by recommending that Claus use the stool as a stand for a flower pot. If he insisted on using it in the shower, they recommended more appropriate clothing for such a venture.
