Decades have went by and individuals are still proclaiming to hear this weird humming noise that no one has been able to identify.
For many it is annoying and other perceive it as strange. Many people can’t hear the sound at all. All over the world people claim to hear the humming sound. It has been noticed in Bristol, which is in the area of England to the south along with being heard in Taos. It has been documented to be heard in New Mexico as well.
Though this low-frequency humming sound is being heard all over the world, only about 2 percent of everyone in the world can hear the sound.

The sound is commonly heard inside buildings and homes and can be easily heard during the hours of the night. The sound isn’t easily heard in the urban areas of loud cities with a high population.
The sound is usually noticed in more quiet environments like rural areas. Why do you think this is?
One study revealed that most people who are able to hear the humming sound range between the ages of 55 and 70. The sound can be heard by many all throughout the day and others can hear it randomly as the day passes.
As a result of hearing this sound, some individuals have trouble completing their daily tasks and business. One suicide has caused this humming sound to receive the blame.
Some cases claim that insomnia, nosebleeds, nausea, dizziness and headaches are a result of hearing this strange sound.
There are a number of doctors who believe the sound is caused by tinnitus. This disorder is known to lead individuals to hear sounds that aren’t actually being sounded. As a result of the sound being heard in a few places around the world, this is unlikely to be the cause.
