This Man Lost His Best Friend After A Day At The Beach - Don't Let It Happen To You, Too

Have you ever taken your beloved pet down to the beach for a day of adventure, fun and relaxation under the sun? Although we've all heard the potential dangers of owning a pet -- never feed them chocolate, don't let them wander into the woods alone, don't leave them outside at night -- what about the ocean? We often overlook this vast body of water as a calm and gentle force of nature, but sometimes the most unsuspecting elements can turn deadly in the blink of an eye!
Man and Dog: A Tale of Two Best Friends
Chis Taylor was a regular guy in his late twenties that loved two things in his life: visiting the beach and playing with his dog. The Florida resident decided to relax from class at the University of South Florida where he has high hopes of becoming a teacher or professor one day.
Like most Florida natives, Taylor thought it would be a good idea to take himself and his canine companion -- O.G. -- down to the ocean for a fun day under the sun. What Taylor didn't realize, however, was this excursion would be the last time he saw his furry-friend healthy.

In the beginning of their relationship, O.G. and Chris were inseparable. O.G. would make it a friendly habit of waiting by the door until his loving owner came home and played with him into the wee hours of the night. Taylor goes on to describe his friend as "loving, goofy, energetic and full of life." But one of the most important aspects that O.G. demonstrated to his owner was his passion and love for all things water related.
On July 9th, terror would strike Taylor's life after a long day of playing with O.G. on the beach. That Monday night, instead of O.G. being his playful, energetic self, he became ill and started to vomit profusely. Chris, feeling anxiety and fearful of the situation, took his beloved pal to the doctor.
After becoming non responsive, O.G. passed away from salt-water poisoning.
This sad story illustrates how quickly salt-water consumption can hurt our pert's internal health!

Do you know anyone that treats their dog like their child? Make sure they don't make the same mistake this man did. Pass this on to your friends and loved ones.
