When you think about a country song, you probably imagine various American artists creating a storm on stage. You probably don’t imagine a British man in London singing, do you?

If you ever hear Bill Pidgley of the United Kingdom talk, you wouldn’t think his voice would sound great singing country music. But listening to him will shock you. After you hear his singing voice for yourself, your jaw will drop in pure amazement!

Pidgley tackled a song that is both emotionally and vocally challenging. The song, originally sung by Doug Stone, is called “Don’t Tell Mama (I Was Drinking) and is a story about the damage that drinking and driving accidents can cause. In it, a stranger runs to the aid of a passerby who has wrecked his car.

The driver of the car, who had been drinking, pleads with the stranger to not tell his Mama that he was drinking. He doesn’t want his mother to know that his death was caused by whiskey.

The lyrics to the song are heavy and thoughtful. Pidgley has been asked to sing it numerous times due to his amazing voice and stage presence. His performance is like nothing you have ever seen before! He has quickly become an internet sensation, leaving Americans loving his music and looking for more.
