Theresa Caputo Looks Striking In Silver Gown While Celebrating Her Son’s Extravagant Destination Wedding

It is the ultimate dream of every parent to witness their children get married and start a life on their own, that’s why they have to be present at the ceremony. Theresa Caputo, popularly known as the Long Island Medium, became the mother of the groom for her son’s nuptials.

According to People Magazine, the reality TV star’s son, Larry Caputo Jr., tied the knot with his longtime partner, Leah Munch, in Lake Como, Italy on June 10, 2023. 

The big occasion was extra special as Theresa also celebrated her 56th birthday at the time.

Before we take a look at her son’s wedding day, let’s deep dive into the TV personality’s personal life as a wife and a mother.

Theresa married her husband, Larry Caputo, in 1989, but after 28 years of their marriage, they decided to get a divorce on Dec. 3, 2017.

Aside from Larry Jr., they also have a daughter named Victoria Caputo.

In a joint statement issued to People Magazine, the couple noted that they decided to legally separate, but they will always love each other as well as their two children.

In addition, the ex-partners added that they are united in supporting their family and they asked the public for privacy at the time.

In a 2017 episode of her famous TV show, “Long Island Medium,” the reality star opened up about the struggles of her marriage with Larry Sr.

During a dinner with a close friend, as reported by E! News, Theresa revealed that she and her then-husband had been going through problems and their relationship had changed since the season prior.

She recalled their relationship over the past decades and said they had been with each other through all the ups and downs, but at that moment, they were not doing well.

Despite their strained relationship, Theresa assured fans that both of them would remain on good terms.

Fast forward to June 2023 when the “Long Island Medium” star was emotional during her son’s wedding because while celebrating the special day of her child’s life, she also reflected on the people she worked with in the past as she is a psychic.

“I think because of what I do, I see that a lot of people don't have family, and Larry and Leah, they wanted it to be all about family. To watch it happen and unfold was just absolutely incredible. Wow,” she told People Magazine.

The wedding was extravagant as it was a three-day affair that started with a welcome dinner at Villa Pizzo before Larry Jr. and Leah tied the knot.

The bride, who wore a dazzling gown by Oscar de la Renta, walked down the aisle while a string quartet played romantic music.

During the ceremony, which was attended by some of their closest friends and family, the couple read their personal vows, and Larry Jr. made it even more special by speaking in Italian.

Since Theresa was both celebrating her birthday and her son’s wedding, she had to look her best, which is why she wore a head-turning silver floor-length gown embellished with sequins designed by Galvan London. She completed her look with a pair of heels by Mach & Mach.

After the nuptials, attendees went inside to enjoy cocktails and appetizers before having dinner composed of a scrumptious menu featuring pasta courses and grilled fish. 

The festivities concluded on a sweet note as everyone enjoyed dessert with choices of cannoli, gelati and a “huge” wedding cake.

It seems like the wedding had been in the works for a while now as Theresa explained that her son and his partner have been together for more than a decade.

“To see them finally be, at this point, where they want to get married, they want to start a family. Every parent's dream is to see their children be happy, and to find that person that they want to spend the rest of their life with,” she said.

On the final day, everyone celebrated Theresa’s birthday by throwing her a surprise brunch celebration, and it was very special for the reality star.

The TV personality also shared glimpses of the wedding on her official Instagram account by posting a photo of herself wearing the beautiful high-slit silver dress along with her son and daughter-in-law.

“And this HAPPENED 🥂🤍🤍 We are over the moon excited for Larry and Leah on their wedding,” she wrote in the caption.

Fans sent their well-wishes to the couple as well as Theresa, as one user wrote, “You all look great and stunning on this special occasion best wishes for many years of a lifetime with mixed blessings of good health.”

There were also fans who noticed the psychic’s get-up for the day, as one user pointed out: “You look so gooood. Love seeing your full face. 💙”

On the other hand, Theresa's daughter Victoria married her husband, Michael Mastrandrea on May 22, 2021. Victoria and Michael’s love bore fruit as they finally welcomed their first child on Feb. 22, 2022, which makes Theresa a grandmother.

The TV star shared the good news with her followers by sharing a photo of herself carrying her granddaughter. She wrote: “I’m a Grandma 💗 No words to describe the Love and emotion of holding my Granddaughter 💖”
