The World's Smallest Woman And Tallest Man Meet For The First Time

It's always awkward being the shortest guy or girl in the group; you have to make up for all your floors. By running to keep with your friends and always having to stand on your toes to see over the crowds at a concert or party. But after all of the complaints, you mustn't feel too bad because it could always be worse. Meet Jyoti Amge from India who is standing at 2 feet tall at 24 years old. 

The pair decided to meet for the first time in Egypt for a photo shoot which you can imagine gathered a fair bit of attention. The project launched because of an idea from Egyptian tourism promotion board who wanted to promote the pyramids in a somewhat unique fashion.

Amge's height is due to dwarfism called achondroplasia and is known as a genetic disorder that affects bone grown. She was declared the shortest woman in the world when she was just 18 years old as she had officially stopped growing. At the time she also only weighed in at 11 pounds!
