The Ultimate Retriever: Smart Dog Uses Rope Chew Toy To Pull Sister Out Of Swimming Pool After She Falls In

Seeing a big brother come to the rescue of his little sister is very heartwarming. It shows how he will do whatever it takes and use whatever is nearby to protect her from danger. When it comes to animals, it is even more touching to watch a Labrador instinctively help his younger sibling out of a swimming pool using a dog toy.
Retired firefighter and paramedic Aaron Tucker was visiting his brother’s house one bright, sunny day in Daytona Beach, Florida on September 27th of this year. Lying by the pool, he happens to video record his brother’s dogs walk alongside it, deciding if they wanted to jump in or not.
What follows is a moment of love that most siblings hope to share with one another.

In the opening scene, Aaron records both dogs standing near the edge of the swimming pool. The younger sibling has one foot on the step where the water level begins.
With his comical, high-pitched voice, Aaron provides the conversation that the two dogs might be having with one another. He begins by saying:
Brother: “You’re gonna fall in, you dummy.” The sister falls into the pool.
Brother: “Ooops, see? I dun told you.”
Sister: “Well, you got to help me get out. Where are those big steps over here. You got to help me get out big brother.”

The brother looks around and finds a toy rope. He grabs hold of it with his mouth and walks back to the pool.
Brother: “OK. You’re gonna grab on to this thing and Imma pull you out.”
He shows her the rope, flipping it back and forth, so she understands what he is attempting to do. She acknowledges by moving over to the spot where she first slipped and says:
Sister: “OK. But you got to hand it to me. I can’t reach it from there.”
He gets closer to her and tells her:
Brother: “OK. I’m gonna hand it to you. You gonna grab this thing and I’m gonna pull you out.”
She directs him closer to where she is and says:
Sister: “OK. Come over to this side. OK. I got it.”
As she bites down on the rope, her brother does his best to pull her back to land. But his first attempt is a bit of a struggle.
Brother: “UH! Oh My God. You’re heavy. You got to go on a diet. I’m not kidding.”
She was not able to get a firm grip of the rope and lets go. But she tries again.
Sister: “OK. Hand it to me. I’m scared.”
The pair tries one more time:
Brother: “OK. Here we go. Now you’re safe.”
Success! Both siblings are out of danger and can go about the rest of their day.
Aaron runs a dog training business called Florida K9. He is also a cadaver K9 handler that teaches emergency medical responders and tactical medics how to provide treatment for dogs.
Back in 2010, he spoke at the SOMA convention in Tampa, Florida where he discussed various K9 emergency medicines. In 2013, he received an award for his help in the creation of a K9 program located in Kabul, Afghanistan from the U.S. State Department, according to his website.
Even without Aaron’s funny voiceover, seeing two dogs help one another out can put a smile on your face. It warms the heart to know that animals have such love for one another.
