Glenn posted the video of the moment Kurt read his acceptance letter on Twitter. His tweet read: “Got a call from my little brother recently. I could tell he was fighting back tears when I answered. ‘Glenn, I’m going to college.’ He just found out he got accepted into a Community College program for students with special needs.”
Glenn added to his post a day later, writing, “The response to this has been amazing. Kurt’s abundant joy is truly a blessing. Thank you all for the kind words.” Surely, seeing the outpouring of support for his education was inspiring for Kurt. Glenn’s tweet has over 8,000 likes and more than 200 comments.
Hundreds of people stopped to leave a kind message after watching Kurt’s video. One person commented, “Thank you for sharing this. His joy and being so emotionally overwhelmed truly touched my heart. I am so happy for him! Please let him know that folks are cheering him on and wishing him great success!” The video is incredibly moving and might make you shed a tear.
In another show of brotherly support, Kurt sent a lovely email to Glenn back in February 2021, wishing him good luck on his KSNT debut. Glenn also shared that story on his Twitter account, writing, “My little brother sent me this email before I went on air Monday. He was very happy to hear I would be on TV, but I’m sure he was also disappointed when I did not mention the fact that the Blackhawks beat the Stars in OT the day before. Sorry Kurt!”
