A teen from Florida was upset when she was denied entrance into her school's homecoming dance because it was deemed by an official that she was not dressed up to standard.
Darcy Krueger, 17, was looking forward to attending her senior year homecoming dance with all of her friends. The Tampa teen bought her $50 ticket, put her hair up in an elegant up-do, and found a stunning pair of sparkly shoes to go along with her outfit.
The only thing that Darcy was not prepared for was being denied entrance to the dance.

When Darcy could not find a dress that she liked, she decided to wear her favorite sleek black jumpsuit instead. However, the event planner said that she could not enter the dance because she was not wearing a dress.
"The first moment [the event planner] sees my pants, she completely dismisses me," Darcy said to CNN. "My friends are kind of in disbelief too, and they're like, 'This is wrong.'"
Darcy said she called her mom and explained what was happening as she was fighting back the tears.
Darcy’s mom, Melissa, was so mad that she took to her Facebook page and posted a pic of her beautiful daughter. She wrote, "My daughter was just denied entrance because her attire has a crotch in it. Tell me this isn't semi-formal attire. Darcy's upset and so am I."
It did not take long for the story to go viral. A professional photographer was so touched by the story that Darcy was offered a free photoshoot in her gorgeous outfit.
