What does a miracle mean to you? It is about the impossible becoming possible out of nowhere, or is it more simple, like someone doing something incredibly selfless and giving someone a second chance?

Whatever your definition is, you'll hopefully agree that what happened in a Minnesota neighborhood could be considered a miracle.

When two police officers were on their beat in Brooklyn Park, they noticed something curious. Next to a pulled-over car, someone was making motions with their arm that were consistent with those for CPR. They weren't the kind of motions you would make for a grown adult who needed CPR, or even a child. However, it started to make more sense when they realized who the patient was: a squirrel.

It turns out that the motorist, Chris Felix, 19, had struck a squirrel that had made its way in front of his car. Rather than drive off and try to forget about it, Felix showed just how big his heart was. He got out of his car and used his fingers to help revive the squirrel.

The officers, Jeremy Halek and Tony Weeks, were able to get the remarkable scenario on tape, thanks to their body cameras. It took a while, but the squirrel eventually jumped back to life and ran off to safety. A smile of absolute wonder and glee crossed Felix's face, and the officers congratulated him on his selflessness.

As word spread of Felix's bravery, more people congratulated him. He has plans to work in medicine, and this clearly shows that he has what it takes. Felix shows that he has a huge heart and believes in the sanctity of life. He reminds us that it doesn't take much to save a life.

The story of Felix and this squirrel is one that makes us tear up by reminding us of how much beauty is in the world. How does it make you feel? Show this to any friends or family members who love reading heart-warming stories.
