Tech-Savvy Husband Exposes His Cheating Wife And Her Lover By Sending Proof To Their Friends & Family

Cheating in relationships has been common for a long time, and it does happen almost everywhere. Many people claim they are in serious relationships, yet their actions do not relate to the suggested commitment in any way. Infidelity and cheating scenarios can crush the victim terribly.

Especially with the emergence of social media and online communications, everything has become virtual, and this has caused drastic changes in the world. In many ways, technology has helped mankind to optimize one’s life. It has transformed maps, calculators, compasses, calendars, notebooks, and even clocks, into handy applications that can be used with a tap of a finger. 

Over time, technology has helped in unearthing the truth about people, if used by someone who is wise and savvy enough.

In the case of user c0uldashouldawoulda on Reddit’s Pro Revenge Thread on Aug. 17, 2023, he recalled a particular revenge that his close friend had enacted on his unsuspecting wife. 

“I had a friend (we'll call him Bob) that was suspicious of his wife's social circle. One of her closest friends had been caught cheating and tried to throw her under the bus as well. Bob had no proof and things settled down for a while,” the Original Poster (OP) wrote. 

Apparently, Bob was an IT professional and was “very VERY good” with PCs and networks. Since the incident, Bob’s wife became “shady” again after their high school reunion, which he was aware of. He confided these things to OP, making him promise not to tell a single soul. 

But one day, OP received a message from Bob containing what he thought initially was a phishing link. He ignored it but received an email from Bob redirecting him to a website that left him stunned. 

According to OP, he was not the only one who received the suspicious email. 

“A short while later I get an email from Bob with some ominous/unsavory comments and the same link. It's a group email with the recipients open copied, his wife's work, her family, her friends, his family other people I didn't know,” he recalled. “I knew it was legitimate now, so I opened it.”

Upon opening the email, it contained a link to a website that contained pictures and videos of Bob’s wife with another man. 

“This wasn't hidden camera footage, it was screenshots including video screen captures. Weeks worth of screenshots. He had captioned each item with snarky comments and colorful names for his wife and her lover,” OP wrote. 

Described by OP as an “embarrassing amount of evidence,” the website contained lewd videos of Bob’s wife and another man. However, what pushed Bob to the breaking point was how his wife trash-talked him to her lover, especially hurtful comments that emasculated Bob. 

“I dropped what I was doing and called him. He was drunk and combative, he had been up all night making the website and drowning in liquor. Not one good word to say about women in general. He was extremely emotional but after some work I had convinced him to take the website down before it does irreparable damage to his marriage, their careers and his children,” OP recalled. 

Per OP, Bob also found the wife, the children, other family members of her wife’s lover, and even his employer, which was also included in the email blast he did to expose their adulterous affair.

Bob initially made amends with his wife despite his friend’s hesitation, but he left her eventually. Bob then gained 100 lbs and moved far away from his wife, and OP lost communication with him after that. As for Bob’s wife, OP had this to say:

“I do not know what became of her lover and his marriage, but I do know what happened to Bob's life. His wife was desperate to make amends, she tried and offered everything. In the end it was her comments about her lover and his prowess that were her undoing.”

While some Redditors considered it a victory, others begged to differ as Bob’s revenge ultimately affected him too. 

“I’d say this is certainly nuclear revenge but not so much pro revenge. Getting blind drunk and losing your shit and burning your life to the ground and then becoming a bitter obese recluse is not the most pro manoveure,” a user posted.

“Sounds like amateur revenge at best. You're not supposed to f**k up your own life in the process,” another commented.

“Not really pro revenge when his life imploded too. Plus, posting other people's sex videos (i.e. revenge porn) is super illegal, as is hacking their computers,” someone pointed out. 

Some others sympathized with Bob, who took a huge emotional and mental beating from his wife. 

“I think bad mouthing your partner during an affair, physical or emotional, is more likely to end it than the affair itself,” a Redditor wrote. 

“Another unhappy woman, who instead should have just left the relationship! Instead of stringing her 'supposed' husband along! Whats worse, she would probably come home after her hook-up and kiss 'Bob' and express her love for him!” someone echoed.
