In the state of Florida, there is a lively family group that has gathered together to put a smile on your face. The world has gone through some particularly dark times lately, and Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids are trying to take things positively. With the current global situation that most of us are in, Colt Clark and his kids saw this as a special opportunity to delight people all over the world with their cover of "Come Together" by The Beatles.
Thankfully for everyone at home, they uploaded their rendition of the song to YouTube, and pretty quickly they went viral — and for good reason! Since it was uploaded in May 2020, the video has been viewed over 1.7 million times! And they're no one-hit-wonder — they've uploaded many music covers to their YouTube and they even have over 267,000 subscribers! Let's take a look at this musical family.
Colt Clark is a professional musician and the father of three children — Beckett, Cash, and Bellamy. He decided to get them together and begin a band right in their living room when they were stuck at home due to the current global situation. With his wife Aubree Clark, who is a photographer, behind the camera, this talented quartet shows no signs of slowing down. This gifted family releases big covers and inspirational songs to liven up our home lives one after another.
In one special performance from May 2020, the band, who are called Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids, did a special performance of The Beatles' "Come Together."

As they begin, it's unclear whether the family will be playing the song straightforwardly as it is normally performed, or perhaps they'll add a kooky twist. But once the first beat starts, it's clear that they're here to play it as it should sound — and Colt and his children are not messing around!
Their melodic performance is awe-inspiring; however, little Bellamy steals the people's attention with her passionate dance moves. She is the only girl in the crew and also provides the team with backup vocals, which is incredible. It is great to see every member of the family join the band. Cash, the eldest son, plays the guitar like his father, along with some percussion and bass. Beckett, on the other hand, plays the drums.
What's most incredible about the band's performance is how similar they sound to the actual Beatles! Colt has an excellent voice and knows how to belt out the lyrics with passion. But it's amazing to see Beckett keep the beat on the drums with the precision of Ringo Starr, or Cash playing guitar with the ease of George Harrison. These band members might be child-sized, but their presence and musical skills are not to be downplayed!
What's more, it's nice that the father of three has set his time on something positive. It may be easy to fall into a spiral of negativity with all the pessimism around the globe, but these wonderful moments make people feel grateful for the existence of the music, the community, and those cute faces.

On the family's YouTube page, mom Aubree even touched on this. Writing on the "About" page, she explained:
"Initially the videos were private until a few friends asked if they could share them with their families, so we decided to make them public. It took off from there. We had no idea that these videos would bring so many people so much joy, and how the positive messages, and comments we've received would in turn, bring us so much joy."
It has certainly been a challenging time, and music is known to help people heal. But to witness such skilled and joyful playing from one family is absolutely a mood lifter!
Colt and Aubree have found a unique way to take advantage of the current situation, and their family is leaving a smile on everyone across the world. They now have the whole world under their feet with their talents. The Clark family is truly incredible, and to see every member taking part is a real inspiration.
The family is still uploading new music to their YouTube page and as one might expect, their level of playing is only getting better and better. While their stage has been virtual until now, who knows where they might go after this — maybe they'll even begin to play live?! All we know is that Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids are certainly the ones to watch!
What do you think of this family's incredible live band? If you found their performance of The Beatles' "Come Together" inspiring, be sure to pass it on to those you know!
