Sylvester Stallone is a legendary actor, screenwriter, director and producer. This talented man has experience with every major role in filmmaking, and he has achieved great commercial and critical success in his career. He is best known for his self-created role as the boxer Rocky Balboa in the 1976 film “Rocky.”
Stallone’s romantic life was a popular topic in tabloids, with the media following him relentlessly and keeping tabs on all of his marriages. He married his first wife, Sasha Czack, in 1974. They had two sons together — Sage, born in 1976, who sadly died in 2012 from heart disease, and Seargeoh, born in 1979 and diagnosed with autism as a child. After 11 years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce. Stallone also married Brigitte Nielsen in 1985, but the couple eventually divorced two years later.
Then in 1997, Stallone married his long-time on-and-off girlfriend Jennifer Flavin, a former American model. The couple had their first daughter Sophia in 1996, followed by Sistine in 1998 and Scarlet in 2002.
Despite encountering problems in their marriage in 2022, the two managed to mend their relationship and continue being a happy couple and parents to their children. On many occasions, Stallone has expressed his love and affection for his family, from which he draws his strength in pursuing more in his career despite having an illustrious one already.
He debuted his first major television role in “Tulsa King” in 2022, and aside from that he is also opening up his family more to the world in their newest reality show – “The Family Stallone.”
Speaking to Hoda Kotb on Today, Stallone’s daughters dished out a very interesting tidbit about their father that might be one of the reasons why most of them are still single. Read on to learn more about the cheeky revelation!
The details for Stallone’s upcoming reality show have been kept under wraps. In a Daily Mail report in August 2022, one of Stallone’s representatives revealed: “The Stallones are presently filming a reality show together which will debut on Paramount+.”
In a feature of Stallone by The Hollywood Reporter from Nov. 7, 2022, the actor expounded more on his decision to embark on uncharted waters — reality television.
“I thought it would be the ultimate home movie. This is a chance where I’m going to be with my kids under a work condition where they get to see me in action and I get to see them in action,” Stallone told the outlet.
For Stallone, he wants to redeem the lost time he had wasted early in his career — a time that he was supposed to spend with his family. The actor considers this his “biggest regret” in life.
“Everyone goes, ‘I wish I’d shown love more’ or ‘I wish I’d spent more time with the kids.’ I’m riding that boat. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to do the reality show that I’ve been taking a lot of sh*t for,” he expounded.
Asked what people would be expecting from the show, Stallone had this to say: “What you will see is the real truth. This is a great opportunity. I don’t look at it as stooping to conquer. But each time you go in a different direction, people go, ‘Oh God, you must be in trouble.’ Just the opposite.”
But before the show starts streaming on May 18, 2023, the entire family graced the Today Show with Kotb and the girls started spilling a secret that not many people know about their dating life and their dad as well.

Just from the official “The Family Stallone” trailer alone, one would be very excited to see another side of Stallone behind his villainous characters and death-defying stunts – as a family man.
In the interview, Stallone opened up about having to have second thoughts about the show because of the security risks it may pose to his family; but when Kotb asked the girls if it was “tough to date” because of their father – the girls were immediately in unison.
"Well, we’re single, so," Sophia quipped, implying that it was tough to date, sending everyone into chuckles.
Stallone, on the other hand, interjected and jokingly confessed that he wanted his daughters to be “spinsters,” a slang for an unmarried woman.
“It’s very difficult,” Sistine nodded in agreement. "He’s quite intimidating to most, and most of the time when they come over to meet the parents, they don’t necessarily return, simply because he’s just so scary."
It was as if they were already in an episode of the reality show, as Flavin claimed that she was “nice” when meeting boys compared to her husband. The girls even dished out that Stallone refuses to shake hands and even say hello.
"I don’t trust their intentions," he answered Kotb when asked why he doesn't trust them. "Because I know men."
Scarlet, on the other hand, who was silent throughout the conversation, surprisingly admitted she has a boyfriend who passed Stallone’s intimidation tactics and was now his father’s “best friend” with matching tattoos.
Stallone’s protectiveness toward his family really shows as anyone who would have three very beautiful daughters like Sistine, Scarlet and Sophia would understand.
