That prank belongs to the graduating class of St. Andrew’s, an episcopal school in Middletown, Delaware. The school’s class of 2023 felt it would be wise to prank their principal and went ahead to visit her home in the middle of the night and surprise her with their presence in the morning.

On May 19, 2023, St. Andrew’s School, Middletown, Delaware, shared a video showing its graduating class of 2023 pranking their principal, Joy McGrath. In the video, over 70 students were seen inside a home waiting patiently. Their principal, McGrath, opened the door to find many students in her home. McGrath, who donned a bathrobe and Crocs slides, was shocked at opening the door and immediately closed it back. Later, McGrath regained her composure and reopened the door. Immediately she did, she greeted the whole class, saying

“Good morning, little bunnies.”

After the greeting, the students laughed out loud. Afterward, McGrath told them that they were all in trouble. She then pointed at someone in the background, which most people believed to be her husband, saying

“You are in the most trouble.”

McGrath also went ahead to ask the students how long they had been in her home. When she found out they had been there for five hours, she looked amazed. Finally, she called her students “commandos” and confessed that their presence was the most beautiful sight she had ever seen.

Many people reacted to the video on TikTok and Instagram, with one of the commenters on Instagram saying

“I’m really glad she has a robe on. I definitely don’t fix my morning coffee in a robe and Crocs.”

Another person on TikTok said the prank was the best senior prank ever, while another person said, “Sleepover at the principal’s office is EPIC!!!!”

Some other people noted that the prank showed how much love the students had for their principal though a few others wondered how the students got into their principal’s apartment and tagged the prank as being too risky. However, the school responded to the concerns, revealing that McGrath’s husband helped her students to pull off the prank.
