Stubborn Neighbor Blocks Woman’s Car In Driveway—‘Tough’ Man Gives Suitable Reply

There is a reason so many religious books stress the need of being kind to your neighbor. If every single person was kind to their neighbor in this world, we would be well on our way to world peace. Neighbors can often help us out in times of need. They're usually handy for a cup of sugar or a night of babysitting if you need a break. Sometimes, our neighbors become like our family, and we find that a lifelong companionship has been waiting for us right next door.

The sense of community that comes from a strong neighborhood is beneficial to everyone: parents have support systems, kids have groups of best friends, and the community always looks out for each other. This is the best-case scenario, of course. Most of us know that having neighbors is not as simple as it sounds.

It is unfortunate that sometimes you end up with next-door neighbors who make life difficult for you no matter how much kindness is thrown back at them. For Abi Mustafa from Luton, England, her neighbors had become a stressful part of her life back in 2017. Thankfully for her, her nephew, Hakan Acar, was also her neighbor and was able to step in to help her when things got really rough.

The Daily Mail reports that Mustafa was in a month-long spat with her neighbor about car parking situations. In September 2017, the spat got bad enough that Mustafa was unable to leave her house because of a parked car that the neighbors refused to move.

Abi Mustafa was just trying to get to work when she realized that her neighbors had parked directly in front of her driveway. Acar told the news outlet that his aunt's neighbors had picked a fight with her because she had parked in front of their house, and even though the place that she had parked in was a public road, the neighbors wanted revenge. When Mustafa found her car blocked, she attempted to talk to her neighbors about the "petty" quarrel but was unable to get anywhere. The neighbors refused to move the vehicle.

Most of us in such a case would have had to wait it out until our neighbors did the right thing, but thankfully for Mustafa, Acar, her nephew was well known in the neighborhood as "Tulk," which is short for "Turkish Hulk." Certainly, Acar has an incredible stature that can intimidate someone, but Acar didn't feel the need to use threats, and simply told the stubborn neighbors, "...either you're going to move the car, or I'm going to move the car." Even after so many requests, the answer was a firm "No."

"He said in response "I will call the police" but I didn't mind, because I knew blocking somebody's driveway is just not the right thing to do. They had put it there deliberately to block my auntie in. It was an act of revenge because they don't like where she parks and that's just not fair," Acar told the Daily Mail. He decided to take the matter into his own hands, literally!

He walked up to the scene, ready to save the day, and incredibly, within moments, he had actually PUSHED the car right out of the driveway and into the road! This allowed Abi to get her car out of her driveway without a problem. The video below shows this superhuman feat in action, and we have to say, we were quite surprised that anyone could move a car with their hands like this!

Acar spoke about how he felt during this time, saying, "I was worried that the hand brake might have been on - and I was trying to work out whether it was front or rear-wheel drive. Then it just started moving." The car glides away from the spot quite easily, and Acar made it look like picking up a car and moving it was as simple as pushing a heavy box out of the way! "To be honest I didn't go over with the intention of actually pushing the car in the first place. I just wanted to see how heavy it was but then I realized I could move it," Acar added.

Acar is definitely a very strong man, and interestingly, he said that he has lifted things much heavier than the car, which was a Vauxhall Corsa. "I've pulled eight and a half tonne trucks before so a one tonne Corsa wasn't going to be a problem," he said. Moreover, his cousin was supposed to help him move the vehicle if needed but Acar clearly did not require any additional help.

However, following this reaction, the neighbors reportedly filed a police complaint alleging that Acar had criminally damaged their vehicle. Unfortunately, the "petty" spat was escalated by the neighbors, and according to Acar, he did nothing more than moving the vehicle out of the way.

Acar said about the police complaint, "It's a shame they are doing this. I hoped we had resolved it the other day as we have not heard anything since. However, if they are claiming this, they will be carrying it on...I hoped it was all resolved now, we don't want any trouble and my auntie never wanted to cause anyone any problems in the first place."

To clarify the situation, Acar also added additional details of how the quarrel came about in the first place. "The thing is the neighbors opposite don't have a driveway and my auntie parked her car in front of their house. She said she can park there because there isn't a driveway. The people opposite don't like her parking there but she says she's every right to because there's no drive[way]. It causes no problems for them..." he said.

While there have been no updates on the state of the case today, the fact that Acar was able to accomplish such a feat is still remarkable. The video also shows that he's a loving nephew as he only did this because he was unhappy with how his aunt was spoken to. "I'm quite a calm person - I'm not an angry person at all but hearing the way he spoke to my auntie just upset me a bit."

What do you think of this loving nephew and his incredible strength? How would you have handled this neighborly quarrel? Tell us your thoughts, and show this to your friends and family! Everyone needs to hear an uplifting story like this one every once and a while.
