Spectacular Clip Shows Driving Travelers Being Caught In Bison Stampede

A family visiting Yellowstone National Park in August of 2019 got caught in the middle of a huge massive bison stampede that damaged their rental vehicle. The video shows more than 100 bison charging at vehicles that stopped on the road.

Even the most hectic traffic jams do not stand a chance against what this traveler experienced on his visit to the Lamar Valley Bridge. When visiting Yellowstone National Park, you expect to see a plethora of wildlife in their natural environment. After all, this national park is known for its variety of untouched landforms and rampant wild animals that are left alone in their natural habitat. However, one visitor got more than he bargained for when a stampede of bison decided to join in alongside his jaunt.

As reported by KDVR, one family was sitting in their car, enjoying the view that Yellowstone National Park has to offer when suddenly a brown image emerged in the distance. As it came closer, they soon realized it was a stampede of bison encroaching upon them.

With few other options, the visitors just sat there in awe of the wildlife parade that was about to ensue around them. It was as though a scene from the infamous children's movie, The Lion King, was playing out right before us in this video.

Nothing says adventure like a herd of bison joining in on your vacation, but that is exactly what these visitors of the Yellowstone National Park experienced.

Unlike other animals that may be more aggressive or territorial, these bison did not intend to run into the car or mean any harm to the visitors. They were simply passersby in their own, natural environment, which made it even more fascinating to watch.

Wondering when the stampede will end, the individuals filming realize that the bison parade is set to last much longer than they expected. Seeing a bison up close is a unique opportunity that is an infrequent occurrence but being involved in a bison stampede is a life-changing experience.
