Shocked Owners Discover Their Parrot Crying Like A Baby

When two new parents brought their new baby home, they didn’t think about the effect the baby would have on their pet parrot. One day, they heard a baby crying in the kitchen. They were alarmed by the noise! They ran to what they thought was the baby crying, but it was in fact the parrot! The parrot was mimicking the sound of the baby crying.

A parrot’s mimicking is not only entertaining as a pet owner, but it is also useful in the wild. They use it to communicate. It also allows them to know where each of them came from. Male and female parrots from the same area can find each other based on the noises they are making. Depending on the situation, they may even try and avoid each other based on the noises.

There are many different reasons parrots mimick certain noises. The new baby in the house obviously effected the bird in some way. Maybe he noticed how much attention the new baby was getting and wanted someone to pay attention to him.

Regardless of his reason, there is one thing that is for sure. That parrot sounds exactly like a baby crying! It is almost creepy how similar they sound. Check out this video:
