Sharon Stone is an American actress, producer and model. She was prominent in the 1990s when she was known for portraying femme fatale figures in movies. She has received critical acclaim and accolades for her talent as an actress.

Stone began her career as a model and made her film debut in “Stardust Memories.” She went on to find fame starring in movies such as “King Solomon's Mines,” “Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold,” “Total Recall,” “Basic Instinct,” “Last Action Hero,” “The Quick and the Dead” and “Casino.”

She proved she was more than just a pretty face as well, earning critical acclaim and accolades for her talent as an actress, including being nominated for an Academy Award for her role as Ginger McKenna in “Casino.” She even won a Golden Globe for the role. She has also won an Emmy Award for guest starring in “The Practice.”

She received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995. Owing to her incredible screen presence, Stone is still an in-demand actress now, despite being a veteran in the entertainment business, making appearances in contemporary shows such as “The New Pope,” “Ratched” and “Murderville.”

Even though she has had an amazing and successful career, Stone has also experienced personal problems, especially with her love life. She got married twice in the past, the first one was with famed television producer Michael Greenburg in 1984. Six years after their marriage, they got divorced.

She later became engaged twice again to two different men — William J. MacDonald, but they never got married and separated in 1994, and Bob Wagner.

Her last publicly known marriage was in 1998 when she got married to journalist Phil Bronstein. Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last either, as they got divorced in 2004.

In August 2023, Sharon Stone surprised her fans with a photo of herself wearing just a t-shirt and a pair of sunglasses, and her followers adored her overall look. Her shirt featured a design that appeared to be a caricature of a person with a red heart. The actress posed in front of a canvas of one of her creations. The painting featured strokes of orange and red, as well as blue, and blobs of white that resembled clouds. On the bottom left of the photo, her lovely dog could be seen adoring her from the side.

After she shared the image, fans took to the comment section to commend her beautiful outfit for that day as one wrote, “what is more beautiful? The painting or the painter?”

“I love it…!!! and you are beautiful,” another one wrote.

“Looks like you’ve turned back time. 🧡,” one commented.

In the caption, Stone shared the details behind her painting as she noted that it was titled “Cumulus Joy.”

Stone may be a successful actress, but she is also a great artist. The star went back to her roots as she began painting again during the pandemic. In an interview with The Art Newspaper, Stone said she received painting lessons from her aunt, who took painting and literature classes in college. She followed in her footsteps as she also enrolled in those subjects during her time at Edinboro University. But unfortunately, Stone never got the chance to continue exploring her artistic side when her acting career skyrocketed.

However, she still got in touch with her love for creativity by visiting “museums all over the world when they’re closed, which has been an extraordinary experience.”

Stone started her painting journey again during the pandemic. It all began when a friend of hers heard that she wanted to paint again. That friend then sent her an adult paint-by-numbers kit. Fortunately for the actress, she was able to regain her control, and she “refound” her love for art.

“I painted and painted and painted, and I refound myself. I refound my heart. I refound my centre,” she said.

Initially, the star began with a small setup in her bedroom, but as her love for painting grew, she set up a studio within her home and painted whenever she could.

In 2023, Stone had her first art exhibit, but she never really intended for her artworks to go public in the first place. It all began when she gave a painting to her friend Anastasia Soare, the CEO and founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills, for her birthday.

She told L’Officiel Magazine in April 2023, “It was at her house, at a party, and people there just started lining up asking me for commissions. I couldn’t deal with it, so I went home. About 10 days later a gallery called me.”

From there, she established her show called “Shedding.” She explained to the publication that the name was inspired by “shedding our false personas.”

“We’re shedding a life we had before Covid. We’re in a new life, finding a new self,” she added.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Stone was asked if she would continue painting, and she excitedly answered: “Oh, my God, yes. No matter what happens, I don’t care. I’m not doing this for some altruistic construct.”
