Shania Twain Calls 6-Year-Old On Stage To Sing "Honey I'm Home" In 2015 Show

Shania Twain invited a six-year-old girl on stage at her concert. Alexis was at the show with her mother. Twain asked her young fan if she wanted to sing. The little girl replied, “Yes” and started singing the lyrics to Honey I’m Home. This adorable interaction took place in July 2015 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

The Rock This Country Tour made a stop in Washington, D.C., in July 2015. It featured country superstar Shania Twain.

Back then the singer invited an adorable little girl on stage at the Verizon Center. The little girl named Alexis was 6-year-old at the time. She was wearing a pink sparkly princess dress. Twain told the young girl that she had a beautiful name and asked her Alexis if she does like to sing. Alexis, replied “Yes” and said she wanted to sing “Honey I’m Home”.

Alexis gave an adorable rendition of “Honey I’m Home” and Shania Twain was in awe. The whole crowd clapped as the little girl belted out the lyrics.  

Alexis sang the lyrics with excitement: “Honey, I’m home, and I had a hard day, pour me a cold one and oh, by the way. Rub my feet, gimme something to eat, fix me up my favorite treat."

At the end of the song, Alexis posed for a picture with Shania Twain. It was a memory she can look back on for years to come. Shania Twain also gave Alexis a hug before she exited the stage. 

The crowd melted at this exchange, exclaiming, “Awwww!” as the little girl made her way to her family.

“Honey I’m Home” was the sixth single on the album Come On Over. It was written and recorded by Twain in 1998.  “Honey I’m Home” went on to become her seventh No.1 single to date.
