Shania Twain, 59, Exchanged Her Iconic Brunette Locks For Sexier & Bolder Platinum Blond Hair

Shania Twain is a Canadian singer and songwriter who has sold over 100 million records throughout her career. This makes her the best-selling female country music artist of all time and one of the top-selling artists in music history. She has come to be known as the "Queen of Country Pop" and is best known for her songs "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" and "Any Man of Mine." The singer won a Grammy Award for the latter song.

In 2008, everyone was shocked when her then-husband, Robert Lange, cheated on her with her secretary, Marie-Anne Thiébaud. Marie-Anne was married to Frédéric Thiébaud at that time. And in a stunning turn of events, Twain and Frederic later tied the knot together in 2011 in Puerto Rico.

Following the cheating scandal, Twain promptly dumped Lange. He made some far-fetched statements about the breakup, such as, “It’s literally just a growing apart, that’s all.” They formally divorced in 2010. The Thiébauds also divorced as a consequence of the affair.

Frédéric and Twain have now been married for over a decade. The couple officially dated in 2009 and got married in Rincon, Puerto Rico, on New Year’s Day in 2011. Her happy marriage boosted her confidence, and she became happier with herself as she introduced her new era with bold looks and her own unique fashion sense. Her 2022 single, “Waking Up Dreaming,” is about showing her affection toward her partner and being happy with him.

Aside from voicing her feelings for her man, she also hinted at her new “crazier” looks.

She rocked a black mohawk hairstyle for an InStyle magazine photoshoot that was taken in January 2023.

The 59-year-old told the magazine that she is ready to push boundaries when it comes to her style and fashion.

“I’m more adventurous now, and I’m just excited about what is new and what I can experiment with. I just love fashion for that,” the “From This Moment On” singer said to InStyle.

Twain also posted on Instagram a sultry photo for her single, “Waking Up Dreaming.” 

“I styled that photograph myself. It was all about taking off the bra, taking off the shirt, tying the shirt around my waist,” Twain told The Sun.

With her latest style, she became more confident with herself. 

“This is me expressing my truth. I’m comfortable in my own skin, and this is the way I am sharing that confidence,” Twain told People. 

The most daring move Twain made was ditching her brunette hair for platinum blond as she appeared almost unrecognizable at a Republic Records event where she wore an orange silk outfit on Feb. 01, 2023.

“I actually love her blonde. Hopefully she does this look in a new video soon!” a fan said.

“Color my hair, do what I care. You look amazing,” another commented.

However, some of her fans think she's losing her usual look.

“A blonde? Noooooo… that don’t impress me much,” someone shared.

“Anyone else think she’s trying to look like a Kardashian?” one asked.
