Life in prison is difficult and the prisoners often get very little time for fun or relaxation. This was the case at Hampshire County Jail in Northampton, Massachusetts. To lift the mood and bring some joy to the prisoners, a group of senior citizens visited and gave a show to remember!

The Young@Heart Chorus is a group of senior citizens that love singing and performing. They decided to go volunteer their talents at the prison and put on a big show. On the day of the performance, the jail audience was sprawled out on the grass in the outdoor courtyard and waited for the performance to begin.
The chorus gathers in front of them and announces that one of their members had died that morning, so they would be dedicating a performance of "Forever Young" by Bob Dylan to that individual.
An elderly woman stepped up the microphone and began to sing the tune, then a male member of the choir stepped up and sang his part beautifully. The emotional song touched the hearts of the inmates, and as the camera pans to them, it shows many of them are deep in thought. The amazing song and performance touched the hearts of the inmates who often don't get a chance to show emotion in their current state.
