See Adorable Photos Of Marie Osmond's Look-Alike Grandson Maxwell During His Second Birthday Bash

Marie Osmond recently posted photos of her grandson Maxwell's country-themed second birthday bash to her Instagram page, and it's too adorable for words! From farm animals to country-themed dress ups, the day looked like a lot of fun. Meanwhile, Maxwell clearly has taken on some of his grandma's good looks!

Posted to Marie Osmond's personal Instagram account, she included a series of photos of her grandson Maxwell's second birthday party, alongside a lengthy caption detailing the day. She wrote:

"I just had to post these photos from my grandson’s Maxwell second birthday party. His mama Claire put together the most amazing “country” themed party! I guess that makes him #ALittleBitCountry 🤠😂 They even had some precious baby animals to hug and ponies to ride."

The party certainly was "a little bit country" alright! Maxwell, who is Marie's son Stephen's child, was dressed up in blue corduroy overalls and a white T-shirt, which complemented his bright blond hair and blue eyes. He even takes after his famous grandma's good looks. In one photo, he and his brothers are all wearing straw cowboy hats and it's too cute. The baby animals included fluffy rabbits and gorgeous ponies to ride on—the combination of adorable children and baby animals is too much!

However, despite being a doting grandma, Marie wasn't actually in attendance at the party, which she explained in her caption, although her husband Steve was able to be there with the rest of the family. She explains she was shooting a commercial and that is why she couldn't attend. Well, when you're a famous Hollywood entertainer, then work beckons.

On the positive side though, she was joined on her working day with other members of her family including her daughter Brianna, who acts as her makeup-artist, and her son-in-law David, along with their two little girls. Additionally her other son-in-law Gabriel does on-set wardrobe alterations for her, so he, her other daughter Rachael, and their two children came along too. As Marie said in the same caption:

"So four little grandkids are all playing together…💗💗💗💙"

Obviously very close to her family, earlier this year Marie was surprised by some of them when they appeared on a virtual episode of The Talk to wish her a happy Mother's Day. But just a few months later, Marie would leave the show in September. She also wasn't present in new promotional pictures, prompting some fans to express their disappointment. 

But Marie seems to be doing well, sharing many photos of her life on Instagram. She recently posted a photo of her and her "glam squad" together, as well as her with friends including Oliva Newton-John.
