Sean Connery's Son Jason Looks Just Like Him

When people think of Sean Connery, they probably think of his role as 007 in several of the popular James Bond films. Other notable roles include: "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen." The film star's talent runs in the family, as his son, Jason Connery, also has a successful career in the film industry as an actor and director– and is the spitting image of his father.
Thomas Sean Connery was born on August 25, 1930, in Fountainbridge, Scotland. Although he was known as "Tommy" as a youngster, he soon went by his middle name "Sean." When he was 16 he decided to join the Royal Navy, where he got two tattoos which are very symbolic to him. The first reads "Mum and Dad" and the second, "Scotland Forever."
When he was dismissed from the army he tried various lines of work but pursued acting as his main passion. He began to get regular film work, but his breakthrough came when he was given the lead role in the 1962 James Bond Film, "Dr. No." In 1987 Sean won the most prestigious film award: an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for "The Untouchables."

In November 1962, Sean Connery married actress Diane Cilento in secret at the Rock of Gibraltar. Sean was filming "From Russia With Love" at the time. They had one child together, Jason–Sean's only child.

His most successful directorial film came in 2016 when he directed "Tommy's Honour." The film opened the 2016 Edinburgh International Film Festival also and won Best Feature Film at the 2016 British Academy Scotland Awards.
Jason married American actress Mia Sara in 1996, and they have one son together, Dashiell Quinn Connery, 23, who is also an actor.
Amongst numerous acting accolades, Sean Connery was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000 for services to drama.
When Connery received the American Film Institute's Lifetime Achievement Award on 8 June 2006, he revealed he would be retiring from acting. At 90 years of age, we think he's earned a well-deserved break! We are sure his son and grandson will fill the gap!
