Sam Elliot, one of the most loved voices in the entertainment industry, recently read lyrics that one of his co-stars made famous. That's right--Sam Elliot gave us his take on Lady Gaga's lyrics.

While some people may think the pairing as unusual, after the film A Star Is Born>'s release, it makes complete sense. In the movie, Lady Gaga and Sam Elliot star alongside Bradley Cooper.

The movie got rave reviews after its October 5th opening, as well as a lot of Oscar buzz. The songwriting, one of the most poignant parts of the movie, was led by Lukas Nelson, Dave Cobb, and Jason Isbell. Cooper and Lady Gaga also worked to write a few songs for the soundtrack.

In a move to promote A Star Is Born Sam Elliot had an appearance with The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Hilariously enough, Stephen Colbert asked Sam to use his iconic voice as he read through a few of his co-star's lyrics. Sam Elliot laughed and began to recite some of Gaga's greatest hits like "Bad Romance", "Poker Face", and "Born This Way".

The audience can't get enough of the star's fabulous voice and humor as he reads the pop singer's lyrics. Though the whole scenario is so funny, as soon as he reads the lyrics to "Bad Romance", the audience bursts out laughing.

As the lyrics read, "Rah rah, ah ah", Elliot dryly and humorously talks through them. Towards the end with "oh la", Elliot cheekily raises an eyebrow and smiles.

After the audience loved his rendition of Lady Gaga's lyrics, we all wanted more! Somewhere, someone on the Internet found an interview of Elliot on Red Eye Chicago. When asked to recite Taylor Swift lyrics, Elliot obliges.

Making a quick apology to Taylor Swift, Elliot begins to read in his iconic deep tone. Reading "Bad Blood", Sam Elliot gives the song an entirely new meaning. Elliot brings a certain pained and heartfelt emotion to the song that isn't quite felt in the original version.

We love Sam Elliot and could listen to him all day. What did you think of his reading? Leave your thoughts on this hilarious video below. Pass this on to your friends and family!
