Rumer Willis Bares All In Unclad Photo To Honor Her ‘Mom Bod’ Months After Child Birth

The "Hostage" actress welcomed her daughter, Louetta Isley, with her boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas, on April 18, 2023. The news of Rumer's pregnancy served as a ray of sunshine for the Willis family after the retirement of Bruce due to his illness. Rumer announced the birth of Bruce and Moore's first grandchild in an Instagram post with a picture of baby Louetta "Lou." In the caption, the new mom welcomed her little one, calling her "pure magic."

Before becoming a mother, Rumer was vocal about her desire to experience motherhood. In February 2023, the "Hello Again" actress talked about her desire to be a mom during an appearance on the podcast "Bathroom Chronicles." She shared:

"It's like one of those weird things that I know sometimes people have such clarity about and it was never a question for me that I wanted to be a mom."

Undoubtedly, motherhood comes with various bodily changes, and Rumer is embracing it all. On Aug. 10, 2023, Rumer posted some sizzling Instagram pictures with her sister. The snap showed the actress rocking a white tube top and pink jacket, which was nicely paired with a gold necklace, silver nose ring and white shades. Similarly, on Aug. 18, 2023, Rumer shared a snap on Instagram showing her feeding Lou in her arms while looking as gorgeous as ever. 

The actress, who just celebrated her 35th birthday, wrote a lengthy caption appreciating motherhood. In the caption, the "Return to Sender" actress revealed that she found out she was pregnant on her birthday. She wrote:

"I feel every birthday wish I have ever had has come true ten fold. This new version of me is someone I love more than I ever thought I could. I feel more confident in my skin."

The selfie came along with a heartwarming caption celebrating her "mom bod." She started the caption by explaining her newfound appreciation for her body. She wrote:

"This body of mine made a human from scratch … This body of mine that I spent so many years trying to shape and mold into what I thought was desirable or made me feel good in clothes, is a little softer and rounder and jiggly and different and that's ok, more than ok it's kind of amazing because I grew a person inside of it."

Rumer continued the touching caption by explaining that she knew her body was "still readjusting.”

"I am just grateful for all that it did and continues to do," she added. The star continued: "My breasts, might be bigger and perhaps ever so drifting downward, but what a gift and privilege that they can feed and provide nourishment for my Lou." She also added, "My hips and tummy, now softer and rounder, cradle my daughter in safety, warmth, and love."

She extended gratitude to her spa team, as she wrote, “Thank you to the lovely team at @suryabymartha for helping me take a moment to take care of this mom bod." Toward the concluding part of her post, Rumer explained that her most profound beauty comes from remembering to embrace this new part of her with a feeling of gratitude.
