Many women agreed with the new mom-to-be and could not believe the mom-shaming that the photographer had unleashed on her. There it was in print, 4,000 Facebook shares and 2,000 comments later. The story went viral, and it's a must-see that will have your mouth hanging open in disbelief.
The birth photographer went ballistic after the expectant mom wanted photos of her C-section birth. The cameraperson scolded the mom-to-be, telling her that she was taking the easy way out with a C-section. The woman was shocked that she would be discriminated against and tried to be polite to the photographer.
istockphotos.com/DashaMullerThe photographer claimed that a C-section is a surgery, not an authentic birth.
The photographer went on to blast the woman further, saying that the surgery could never be considered a birthing moment, and they wouldn't want to capture that event.
istockphotos.com/MarioGutiThe cameraperson continued the insults by advising the mom-to-be to get back to them if she went through a real birthing process and wasn't trying to cut corners so early in her term. The expectant woman was shocked, and C-section moms blasted the birth photographer online for such cruelty.
istockphotos.com/HandemandaciOne mother who had gone through a delivery via C-section said that if it wasn't a real birth, then that means these precious babies don't have birthdays, so they weren't actually born.
Another joked that she had come to the Facebook page just to view the "squishy" infants that were not really birthed.
istockphotos.com/spukkatoOne shot back that zero corners were cut during her C-section and that her lower abdomen had gone through a deep cut. Other Facebook readers were hoping that the mom-to-be was able to find another birthing photographer who had compassion and understanding for all expectant mothers in the world.
