Royal Expert Makes Summer Prediction For Kate Middleton's Road To Recovery

The royal family is a tight-knit group that does their best to be there for each other during the good and bad times. Whether gathering for a special event or just spending the day together for a royal engagement, the royal family members have shown that they truly care for each other. Kate Middleton and Prince William married in April 2011 and have been gracing the world with their beautiful romance ever since. They have three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Over the years, the family has been spotted out and about during royal engagements and typical everyday activities. Despite this, Kate and William have done their best to keep their personal life private and show how much of a normal family they are. However, with such a prime spot in the public eye, it was only time until people began to notice how the Prince and Princess of Wales acted toward their three adorable children. Throughout their many outings and interactions as a family, the royal couple has shown love, affection and support for each other and their kids.

As the British royal family was rocked with serious health issues in 2024, the Waleses were particularly affected after Kate was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer. Keeping them together is Prince William, whose fatherhood was celebrated through a meaningful photo on Father’s Day 2024. However, many were particularly curious about the interesting choice of not having William, George, Charlotte, and Louis face the camera for the celebratory photo. Apparently, this signals something deeper about William and his children.

Apart from this, a Royal expert has predicted what the upcoming summer for the family will be while Kate is undergoing treatment for her cancer diagnosis.

Unbeknownst to many, Kate had made a crucial decision to keep her children away from her when she was still recovering from her abdominal surgery in January 2024 at The London Clinic.

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward told People that Kate didn’t want “to make more of a big thing of” her recovery than it already was by inviting her children to the hospital.

“They’ll be rallying 'round in their own way and helping to look after her,” Seward said.

However, Kate didn’t isolate herself from her children during her hospital stay. Seward revealed that Kate talked to them via FaceTime, a thing their family had done whenever they were far apart during royal tours.

The publication noted that children are generally not allowed to visit the London Clinic without permission from the hospital for both the safety of the visitors and the patients. Although Kate could have her children permitted inside the premises, she chose not to.

This decision was in keeping with Kensington Palace’s earlier statement that detailed how the princess hoped “the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible.”

According to Us Weekly sources, the children then tended to their mother as soon as she arrived from the hospital.

“They’ve all made her some ‘get well soon’ cards along with some of her favorite snacks,” the source shared about the family.

Eventually, Kate revealed in a video in March 2024 that she was diagnosed with cancer.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous,”  she said. “The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”

Focus on the Wales family has been especially significant in the past few months ever since Kate’s cancer diagnosis. On June 14, 2024, for the first time since she revealed her diagnosis, Kate assured the public of her health condition and her treatment process. In her message, Kate said she had been “blown away” by the messages she had received in the past few months.

“It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times,” she said.

According to Kate, she’s “making good progress” already. However, she pointed out, "as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days.”

“On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well,” Kate added. “My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.”

Kate then shared that she would attend the king’s birthday parade, which she did, and promised to attend public engagements over the summer, “knowing I am not out of the woods yet.”

“I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal. Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me,” Kate concluded.

Days after Kate’s message was posted, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media account shared a beautiful photo of William, George, Charlotte, and Louis on Father’s Day.

“We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day 💕 G, C & L,” the caption read alongside the photo taken by Kate.

Many thought the photo was particularly interesting because the four were not facing the camera and, rather, looking away at the picturesque beach. Speaking to The Mirror, body language expert Judi James shared her interpretation of the interesting decision for them not to face the camera.

“Photographed from the back view, they avoid actually communicating with the camera. It suggests this is an intimate and loving moment caught rather than a ‘show pony’ one posed to please the viewer,” James suggested.

People in the comments also showed their appreciation for William and the family.

“I truly love this beautiful family. They take care of each other and put family above all else. Prince William seems to be an amazing dad, and I am sure those kids think so, and that’s all that matters! Family. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads!” one greeted.

“Somehow this photo is very poignant. A father like any father with his children ❤ united and supporting one another. Hopefully, people and some people in the media have the compassion and decency to stop ✋ with cruel unfounded speculation and comments. This is a FAMILY 👪 ❤,” another commented.

“Beautiful picture!! It almost looks like a drawing! I absolutely love it! Happy Father’s Day Prince William. I hope you have an amazing day with your family,” a third person praised.

“What a photo! Prince William is a wonderful father, he is raising his children like his mother would had wanted❤️,” a user pointed out.

On June 22, 2024, Prince William attended Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour stop at Wembley Stadium in London –  a grand way of celebrating his 42nd birthday with his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The royal family members were among 90,000 others who packed Wembley Stadium for the show. Other famous faces in attendance that night were model Cara Delevingne and “Bridgerton” star Nicola Coughlan.

Naturally, Swift’s team knew that William and his children were going to attend the show and made sure to give the trio a royal welcome. Swift and William are no strangers, having shared a stage together more than 10 years ago in 2013 at Kensington Palace to performLivin’ On A Prayer” with Jon Bon Jovi for a charity event.

After the Wembley show, both Swift and William shared some sweet backstage photos. Kensington Palace’s official social media account shared a picture-perfect snap of Swift taking a selfie with William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The children looked absolutely ecstatic to meet the pop princess and music royalty as William’s face lit up with a broad and glowing smile.

“Thank you @TaylorSwift for a great evening!” the caption read.

Meanwhile, Swift pulled in her beau, American football star Travis Kelce, for a selfie with the royal family, which she posted to her Instagram with the caption:

“Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.”

According to Newsweek’s chief royal correspondent Jack Royston, William attending the show with Charlotte was a significant moment.

“It’s been a really, really tough six months for the Wales family, but it does seem like things are looking up. And so as spring has come in Britain and the flowers are in bloom, they too have kind of come out of the darkness, and here they are living their best lives, having a great time,” Royston said.

Although the Wales family has been experiencing some difficulties recently, former BBC royal commentator Jennie Bond spoke to OK! Magazine and shared her predictions for the family's future.

“This year has obviously been incredibly difficult for all of them,” the commentator said. “But, as the picture issued for William’s birthday of them jumping off a sand dune which was taken by the Princess of Wales shows, they are doing all they can to leap for joy at the prospect of things getting better.”

Expounding more on the family’s father’s day photo, Bond says that the future King  brings “irrepressible sense of fun” to his three children.

“William has shown us all what a great dad he is, making his family his priority no matter what criticism that provokes,” Bond added. “It’s obvious that his children adore him and see him as the protector he is – just look at the photo of him standing facing the ocean with his arms around his kids.”

Bond also predicted that a summer getaway would probably happen if things go to the family’s favor.

“If Catherine’s medical condition allows, they will perhaps have a few days in the Scilly Isles – which is one of their ‘go-to places’ where they are pretty much left alone to enjoy the beaches and countryside during precious family time,” Bond told the outlet.

However, Bond noted that if Kate’s cancer treatment would require her to stay closer to home, then the family might have to instead stay at Anmer Hall for the duration of the summer.

All three of Kate and William’s children attend Lambrook, which is a stone’s throw away from Adeleide Cottage. While Louis is still not worrying much about school, Prince George and Prince Charlotte need a very much-needed break after taking important tests at the end of their school year.
