P!nk recalled how the late Robin Williams launched into a 15-minute stand-up routine to cheer her up after she got snubbed at the 2003 Grammy awards. The popstar still to this day is happy she did not win because if she did she wouldn't have that happy memory of the legendary comedian.

In an interview with Billboard magazine, P!nk remembers how she was up for two awards at the 2003 Grammys for her songs "M!ssundaztood" and "Get The Party Started." These were the first nominations of her solo career since splitting from the group Lady Marmalade.
“I was with Carey, and I was holding on to his arm so tight because I wanted it so bad,” she said.

Unfortunately, P!nk lost to Norah Jones who cleaned the Grammys with her song "Come Away With Me." P!ink says she remembers she began to crumble. However, Robin Williams, who was sitting in front of the singer noticed her becoming upset and turned around "and launched into a 15-minute stand-up routine for me,” P!nk said.

"He made fun of everybody that walked by. He was so compassionate and lovely to me that it ended up being one of my favorite moments of my career," the 40-year-old said.
"I was so glad I f****** lost. My Grammy would be sitting down at my guesthouse collecting dust, but I have the memory of Robin Williams being an amazing person.”
Robin Williams passed away in 2014 after battling depression and mental health issues, he was 63-years-old.
