Rescuers Save Frightened And Starving German Shepherd Living In A River Canal

In this story from 2015, a German Shepherd was found living in the Los Angeles river canal. After neighbors expressed their concerns, two individuals from Hope for Paws arrived to rescue the poor dog. Now, the dog is known as Adrian and has found a wonderful forever home to look after her!

This Dog Was Surviving Next to A Huge Canal

Neighbors were concerned about her well-being, so they called the help that she needed to get off of the streets. Two kind individuals from "Hope for Paws" had to randomly search underneath this massive structure to find the poor dog.

When they found her, she was weak and sleeping underneath her hiding spot. Eldad Agar had to place a controlling leash around her neck for his safety. The dog's hunger and poor conditions caused her to feel uneasy about the situation. Lisa Chiarelli had to place another controlling leash around her neck so that she could not bite them.

They were not successful when they tried to persuade her to relax. Instead, they fed her a tasty meal. This allowed them to build trust and communicate more accurately. Now, the dog knew that this was her lucky day. She was about to receive help.

Over time, the dog regained her health. Eventually, she started to show signs of being a happy and loving German Shepherd that deserved a life that was better than the one she was living.

Now, her name is Adrian. Adrian has an amazing adopted family with loving children that appreciate her patience and love for others. The dog can be seen playing with her loved ones with a clean and shiny coat that showcases her health and care.
