Reba McEntire Will Be Honored With CMT's Artist Of A Lifetime Award

Country music great Reba McEntire will be receiving the Country Music Television artist of a lifetime award at an upcoming ceremony.
The prolific artist has been on the country music scene for decades and is very excited to receive the award.
“I have loved entertaining people since I was a little girl and after being in the music business more than 40 years, I’m still having so much fun! For CMT to recognize me as the ‘Artist of A Lifetime’ is pretty special,” she said in a press release.

She will be officially receiving the CMT award on Wednesday, October 16 at 8pm ET/PT and it will be broadcast live from the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. It will be a 90 minute special titled the CMT Artists of the Year event.
In the lead-up to the event, CMT posted a duet between Reba and Kelly Clarkson from 2007 on their Youtube channel singing “Does He Love You.” Watch it below.
Fall will be a busy time for Reba as she prepares for the award ceremony as well as hosting the CMA awards in November along with Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton.
