Reba McEntire is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She has been called the "Queen of Country Music" and has sold over 75 million records around the world. With more than 100 singles making it to the Billboard Country Charts, McEntire has solidified herself as a household name. She first started recording songs in the late 1970s but hit her stride in the early 1980s. From 2001 to 2007, McEntire starred in her own sitcom called "Reba," and launched herself to even higher success.
The singer's first number-one song was "Can't Even Get the Blues" in 1982. Then in 1984, McEntire signed with MCA Records, and her second studio album, "My Kind of Country," became her breakthrough release. Her best-selling album came after losing eight of her band members in a plane crash in 1991. The album is called "For My Broken Heart," and it garnered critical acclaim. One of her signature songs came from her 1990 release "Rumor Has It." The song was actually a cover called "Fancy," and it is possibly her most popular song.
In her personal life, McEntire has been married twice. Her first marriage was from 1976 to 1987 to a rancher named Charlie Battles. They lived together on a ranch in Oklahoma, where McEntire is from. After ending the marriage, the singer moved to Nashville to further her career in music. In 1989, McEntire married her manager Narvel Blackstock. She became a stepmother to his three children, and together they only had one son, Shelby Blackstock.
Shelby tied the knot with his then-fiancee, Marissa Branch, last Feb. 12, 2022, in a breathtaking wedding in Florida. McEntire, as the showstopper she is, gave her son Shelby a mother-son dance to remember.

When McEntire and Blackstock divorced in 2015, they released a statement that said:
"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other. They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so. They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time."
Not only was the divorce emotionally devastating, but McEntire also had to learn how to take control of her life for the first time. "I started taking over signing the checks and then I started realizing how much water cost, and the electric bill, and all the things that was going on in my life. I made the money, I brought it home. So it was a huge, huge change for me," she shared.
Despite her divorce from Narvel, McEntire still stood as a mother to their son, Shelby, who went on to wed Branch in a massive fairytale Disney wedding. Shelby, 32, is the CEO of Hartland and a former Race car driver, and the 2020 overall champion of the GT World Challenge America. Branch, on the other hand, is a social media beauty influencer and a licensed esthetician.
According to People Magazine, the couple, who met using the dating app Tinder, the place where they had their "fairytale" wedding holds a special place in their hearts – at Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, specifically at the EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom.
"Epcot was the first place Shelby said 'I love you' and where he would later propose. Some of our happiest times together have happened at Epcot, so celebrating our nuptials there just made sense!" Branch told the magazine.
The wedding became even more special when McEntire, 67, made the guests' hearts flutter with an emotional and happy moment at the latter part of the wedding.

Speaking more to People Magazine about their beautiful wedding, Branch gushed on how the song "Beauty and the Beast," used on her aisle walk, perfectly encapsulated her love story with Blackstock.
"Though I've loved the tune long before I ever had any real ideas of marriage, its lyrics perfectly capture what any bride would be feeling," she revealed.
"I know once I reach the altar it will be a true fairytale moment, with my handsome (fortunately not beastly), almost-husband waiting for me."
Aside from the tear-jerking magical moment, one of the highlights of the couple's wedding was Shelby's dance with his mother.
What better song to dance to than one of his mother's greatest hits – "You're Gonna Be (Always Loved by Me)." The song fits perfectly considering its very poignant meaning – a mother's love for her child, and in McEntire's case, her first and only biological child.
As for Shelby, the entire week leading up to the Disney wedding was indeed perfection. He thanked everyone in an Instagram post along with some photos of their magical day.
"Speechless...The most magical day of my life! What a week! The endless drama could be put into a sitcom, but we fought through it all together as a family! In the end, I married my best friend, my Princess, my Queen; the best way possible! Thank you to everyone who could make it to our wedding and those who flooded us with love from all over! It was a week I'm sure none of us will ever forget!" Shelby said in a post.
McEntire, along with her boyfriend, "Better Call Saul" actor Rexx Linn, was present at Shelby and Branch's wedding too.
