A press release stated that Malek's character will coax Bond out of retirement to face one last villain.

“Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica.  His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

The 25th movie in the franchise will be Daniel Craig's last go at playing the world's most famous spy. The film will have them jetting all around the world, with locations including London and Italy.

"I promise you all I will be making sure Mr. Bond does not have an easy ride of this, his 25th outing," Malek said.
