Radio Host Goes From 80s Layered Perm To Sophisticated Bob

Pam Atherton, of New Mexico, tells of her experience meeting Christopher for the first time. She also is the lucky recipient of one of his coveted makeovers. You truly won't believe your eyes.

It all began when Pam attended a Book Expo in Los Angeles. As a radio show host, she enjoyed interviewing authors for her program. At the book expo, she was able to walk around and pick and choose who she wanted to interview. This is when she spotted Christopher who was promoting his new book, Staging Your Comeback.

Pam couldn't believe her luck and decided immediately that she wanted to interview Christopher. However, upon coming up to his designated area, she became quite discouraged. The line leading up to Christopher was extremely long. Like Pam, it seemed almost everyone wanted to talk to the famous Make Over Guy. In fact, Christopher's line was the longest of anyone else's

As luck, or perhaps fate, would have it, Pam would be one of the fortunate few to benefit not only from interviewing Christopher for her radio show, but also to receive one of his famous makeovers! Christopher developed a following among many due to his classic makeovers. Most often, he would take a plain-looking woman and completely transform her look with a hair cut, color, and make-up. The end results were often amazing.

I don't know about you, but I would definitely sign up for one of Christopher's makeovers if the opportunity presented itself. I know all you home-schooling mommas can feel me, right?

When asked prior to her makeover whether she had any concerns, Pam said resolutely "With Christopher? Oh, no, not with Christopher." She did express some concern about whether she would like it if he decided she should go all gray with her hair. I suppose any of us might feel this way, though.

In the end, Pam said that if Christopher thought she would look best with all gray hair, then she trusted it. As you will see in the video, she was entirely right to do so! The 1980s called and requested Pam's shaggy layers back, and Christopher acquiesced to their request! Pam's new short do is not only sleek and sophisticated but downright gorgeous. Her worry about going completely gray was also in vain.

Instead, Christopher mixed various shades, including black, brown, and plum colors that completely made Pam's complexion glow.

"Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. That's all I can say," Pam gushed.

That's about all we have, too, Pam! You can feel the excitement in Pam's voice as she shows the camera her new hair shade. This is when the 'before' picture of Pam pops up next to her made over 'after.' We can totally understand the excitement. Her 'after' picture is simply stunning.
