Most parents are attentive to their children and know their whereabouts at all times. Unfortunately, a minority of parents are the opposite. These neglectful parents may even forget about their children altogether. That was the case with one mother who drove to the liquor store with her 3-year-old daughter.

The mother left her little girl in the car in a parking lot and forgot she was there. It was not until the following morning that the mother came to her senses and realized what she had done. However, she still lied about. When she phoned the police, she claimed that her car had been stolen and that her little girl was in it.

The child was in the car all night with the windows rolled up, so it was hot and difficult for her to breathe. When Seminole County Deputy Bill Dunn found her, he felt for a pulse and could not find one.

In the video, you can see the officer running with the little girl in his arms although he said later he did not think she was alive. He took her to his car and turned on the air conditioning where she began to show signs of life. He then rushed her to the hospital.

The officer's actions were just in time. The little girl survived, and her mother was arrested. You can see more about the heroic officer and his actions in the video.
