Police Arrest Boys Who Covered A Disabled Woman In Flour And Eggs And Posed For A Shocking Photo

Sometimes, young people do really foolish and cruel things not thinking about the harm they might inflict. Taking a prank too far is what a group of British boys did in the Suffolk market town of Bury St Edmunds. Four boys were finally hauled in by police.

Unfortunately, the bullies ages 15 through 17 were performing the evil joke to seek worldwide attention on social media. They delighted in posing for group photos with the victim, a woman in her 40s, who they poured flour and pelted raw eggs over.

She was sitting cowered on a park bench at the time, reportedly having suffered a breakdown just moments before.

According to Suffolk Police, the woman was yelling at the youths, and they retaliated by covering her in the flour and eggs. She did not suffer any physical injuries, but the emotional damage was great. The four teens have been released on bail; police call the behavior unacceptable and are taking the action seriously.

One of the smiling photos they snapped ended up Snapchat; a group member posted it there, and outrage by the public exploded. People went to Twitter and other social media sites to blast the punks for picking on a woman with disabilities and acting proud over their inhumanity.

Local residents are alarmed by the groups of teens who appear to congregate in parks and shops in Bury St. Edmonds. They claim the kids are bored and get into trouble because they have little else to do.

The parents of a couple of the boys are trying to defend them. One mom said her son was just being a stupid boy; another father said his boy was walking by and joined the prank for the social media notoriety, and that was all.
